Aya has an uncanny ability to not only quickly grasp the idea being presented in English but also, and just as importantly, seamlessly communicate the gist of the idea in a way that Japanese students could quickly and easily understand.
Further, she understands how to create vocabulary early on so that students can more easily connect what is taught earlier in a session to that which is taught later.
Finally, Aya is not afraid to ask the teacher for clarification when required – in other words, she is working on behalf of the students to achieve clarity.
